If your reply filter is turned on, Twitter will not show it to you or anyone else except the user who wrote the response. Now Twitter will ask you if you want to enable those controls.
Twitter has said that it is working to limit the harmful replies that users can find on its website using a filtering tool. According to a report, this tool includes a feature that lets you filter potentially offensive or controversial replies.
Twitter’s Senior Product Designer Paula Barcante has released a sneak peek of the features to take input from users. Barcante said Twitter will ask you if you want to enable those controls. If your reply filter is on, Twitter will not show it to you or anyone else except the user who wrote the response.
If you decide to limit unwanted accounts, users who have recently shown breaking rules will not be able to reply to your Tweets at all. Since the process will be automated, Barcante acknowledges that it may not be accurate all the time and may also filter out related or problematic processes.
Therefore, the company is also exploring the possibility of giving you the option to review filtered tweets and limit accounts, said the report.
Twitter will fix the tweet disapear problem soon
Twitter is planning to make some changes that will prevent the tweet from disappearing while the tweet is being read. Twitter will issue a timeline update to address this issue. According to The Verge, when users go back to the Twitter app or desktop website and start reading a tweet, the tweets sometimes disappear from their timeline. The timeline refreshes itself, resulting in the disappearance of the Tweets.
On September 21, the microblogging platform announced that in the next two months, the company would release an update to fix the problem. Twitter replied to a user, We want you to be able to pause and read a tweet without seeing it. The report said that the time period of two months means that there will be no immediate improvement. The micro-blogging site has recently restarted its account sign-in process. Twitter said users who wish to be verified should keep checking their account settings screen to access the in-app application.
