Twitter has announced the roll out of the paid ticket space for iOS users, where some hosts can now sell access to the ticketed space on its Live Audio feature. The company said in May that it was working on a Ticket Spaces feature for hosts to reward them for experiences created by them by receiving monetary support, while offering listeners exclusive access to those conversations. They are rewarded for the experience they care about most.
In a tweet late Thursday night, the micro-blogging platform said, “We want to help create people who create cool spaces.” Today, some hosts will be able to create ticketed spaces. The company said, we are currently experimenting only on iOS but we hope that it will reach everyone soon. I know this is going to take us a while but we want to get this right for you.

Hosts can set ticket prices and how many tickets are available for sale. Hosts earn most of the revenue from ticket sales, and Twitter will keep a small amount as well. Twitter had earlier said that it would cut creators’ earnings by 3 percent from the ticketed space.
