Users now watch around 26 hours of content in a month, compared to less than 16 hours on YouTube. The figures only include viewership on Android phones, so may not be representative of mobile users as a whole, the report said.

YouTube still leads in overall time spent, no doubt as TikTok has around 700 million users compared to its two billion users.
