Children of China can now play games from 8 to 9 pm on Fridays, weekends or public holidays. It is starting from 1st September. This information has been given in the notice of the National Press and Publication Administration. After this new rule, now children have only three hours of option left. In the year 2019 also, a similar ban was imposed where children had to play gaming for only one and a half hours, while on public holidays it was three hours.
The direct impact of the new regulation will now be on China’s largest technology company Tencent, whose Honor of Kings online multiplayer game is very famous all over the world. Apart from this, it will also have a direct impact on the gaming company NetEase. Gaming is also being banned because technology companies are not leaving a good impact on society these days due to messaging, payments and gaming services.
Regulators said on Monday that, they will further strengthen their rules to stop gaming, while at the same time they will also inspect online game companies so that it can be found that all the rules are being followed.
