1. Manage Backup Size

WhatsApp is currently working on this new update. Under this update, users will be able to manage their chat backup size. This means that users can now delete specific files, photos and documents from their cloud backups. It is possible that initially this update will be launched only for Android users. WhatsApp beta tracker WABetaInfo has given this information. Under this new feature, users will be able to manage their backup size before uploading them to the cloud. This feature is currently in the testing stage and is yet to be introduced for beta testing.

2. You will be able to pause the voice recording in the middle

WhatsApp is going to launch this new feature soon. Through this feature, users will get the facility to interrupt and start recording again while recording voice. At present, your WhatsApp does not have the feature to stop voice recording. After this new update, you will be able to take advantage of this feature. It is said that it will soon be launched on iOS and Android devices in a future beta update.

3. Custom Privacy Settings

Work on this feature is also going on at the moment and soon users will be able to take advantage of it through the update. Under this feature, WhatsApp is planning to give the option of “except my contacts” in “Last Seen”. According to WABetaInfo, a similar facility will be provided for “profile picture”. Meaning, users on WhatsApp will soon be able to decide who can see their profile picture and last seen without deleting the contact. Under this feature, even if you save the contact on your device, that person will not be able to see your last seen or profile status.

4. You will be able to convert your photo into a sticker

It is being said that WhatsApp is also working on this new feature. Under this feature, users will be able to convert their photos into stickers, and then it can be sent to anyone on WhatsApp. However, this feature will be available only on the desktop app. According to WABetaInfo, the company has said that the new feature is currently in the development stage and it is not yet available for beta testers.

5- WhatsApp Community

WhatsApp, owned by social media giant Facebook, is also working on the community feature. Under this feature, users will be able to use better group chats / conversations. The company has not yet made any official announcement about this new feature. However, if reports are to be believed, it can be rolled out for users soon. This feature is yet to be introduced for beta testing.
