The company gave this reason for increasing the tariff
The telecom company said that it has always maintained the average mobile average revenue (ARPU) per user at least Rs 200 and has to be raised to Rs 300. This is done so that the capital invested by the company can get such a return that the business model of the company remains financially healthy. Airtel has said in its statement that the ARPU level after the new tariff will improve the company’s ability to invest in network and spectrum. Apart from this, this will strengthen Airtel to start 5G in the country.
