Use of new technology to protect people
According to industry experts, operators have started implementing the new distributed laser technology (DLT) process. This has affected push notifications. DLT is a registration system based on blockchain and the Telecom Regulatory Body TRAI has made it mandatory for all telemarketers to be registered on the DLT platform. The main objective of this platform is to protect the customers by smuggling SMS spam from the telemarketers.
