As per a Gizmochina report, the EV will feature a HarmonyOS smart cockpit, which will give users in China a high-end smart car experience. Yu Chengdong, CEO, Huawei Technologies said that the company’s core technology, developed over 30 years of experience, will power AITO’s medium-sized luxury SUV. SERES AITO will be launched in China later this month. The speed of 0 to 100 kilometers per hour of this electric SUV can be reached in just 4 seconds. In the “endurance” mode on the new DE-i platform, it can have an overall range of over 1,000 km.
Huawei is also likely to get a new source of growth from this. Huawei’s networking equipment and smartphone business have been banned in the US. Seres revealed that the AITO SUV will also feature Huawei’s smart technologies like 4D imaging radar and 5G connectivity.
However, the specifications and pricing of this vehicle are not yet known. It can be announced soon. This vehicle is expected to get a good response in the Chinese market. Sales of electric vehicles are increasing in China and due to this some big automobile companies are planning to launch their EVs in China. American electric car maker Tesla’s EVs are quite popular in China. Tesla also has a manufacturing plant in China. China is one of the major markets for the company. However, in recent months, the Chinese government has cracked down on American companies like Tesla. The reason for this is the ongoing tension between the US and China for the last few years.
