South Korea’s top technology company Samsung on Tuesday claimed to achieve 50 times faster speed than 5G in 6G technology research. Samsung Electronics’ Senior Vice President and Head of Product Strategy, Network Business, Vonil Roh, said in a company presentation on the new 5G transmission device that Samsung has achieved 5.23 gigabits per second (Gbps) speed on 5G networks.
Sunghyun Choi, senior vice president of network business and head of advanced communications research, Samsung Electronics, said, “6G will create a world of opportunities with a wide variety of emerging technologies that will shape the emerging experiences and services model.” We are excited to make 6G a reality. In fact, we have already demonstrated terahertz communication which shows our progress on 6G. The presentation said that Samsung’s 6G technology is 50 times faster than 5G.

New chipset introduced for 5G

He said, Samsung’s 5G vision includes bringing together the best of global expertise and technical insights that can help operators and consumers to take full advantage of 5G benefits.
Samsung recently unveiled its wideband radio that supports 400 MHz bandwidth in the mid-band and is designed to help operators make more flexible and cost-effective deployments. The next generation 5G compact macro and baseband units along with its new One Antenna radio have also been introduced. It is a solution that offers a more compact form factor with antenna integration as well as simpler installation and deployment capacity.
