Intel claims that the third generation Xeon Scalable processor will provide 2.65 times more average performance than a 5 year old system.

Telecom operator Reliance Jio, Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) and Data Center CtrlS have announced to use Intel’s third generation Xeon Scalable processor. This information has been given by American chip maker company Intel.
During the launch event of this processor, Reliance Jio Senior Vice President Ayush Bhatnagar said that the company would like to take advantage of the new processor for 5G services and to run blockchain-enabled use cases.
Bhatnagar said that for 5G workloads, such infrastructure will be required which can perform well. The rapid expansion of data consumption growth, edge computing and cloud-native 5G networks will require processors to meet these demands. The third-generation Intel Exxon scalable processor is a significant achievement in this development journey.

Intel has unveiled new processors using 10 nanometer (nm) processor technology with 40 crore per processor. The company claims that this processor will provide 2.65 times more average performance than the 5-year-old system.
VP & MD-Sales, Intel India’s marketing and communications group, said Intel’s 3rd Generation Xeon Scalable Processor delivers flexible architecture with built-in acceleration and advanced security capabilities needed in a world of workload diversification and increased complexity. ” Apart from these companies, ESDS, Pi Datacenters and Wipro Limited are some other big companies that will use this new processor.
