Xiaomi announces the launch date of Redmi Note 11 series Twitter carried through. This series will be launched on January 26 at 5.30 pm Indian time. The launch will be livestreamed through the company’s social media channels, including Facebook and YouTube. The company has teased the phone launch with the tagline “Rise to the challenge”.
Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro + smartphones were launched in China in October last year. However, the Redmi Note 11 lineup was also expanded in China in November with the Redmi Note 11 4G.
It is worth noting here that the Redmi Note 11 5G was launched in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G. At the same time, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphones were recently introduced in India as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G respectively.
In the Redmi Note 11 lineup, five models were launched with MediaTek processors. However, a report in November suggested that the Redmi Note 11 models will be offered globally with Snapdragon processors and new designs.
Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ were spotted in Europe in internal testing, which revealed that these phones can knock in the European market. Similarly, the Redmi Note 11 4G Global variant was reportedly spotted on Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Russia’s Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) sites. The same model number was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) site.
In December, the global variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus phone was spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) site with model number 20191116UG.
