Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, showed signs of recovery over the weekend, but started the week as weak as that of Bitcoin. The Ethereum-based cryptocurrency saw a decline of 4.46 percent on Monday and the downward trend continued on Tuesday. As of writing the news, Ether price in India today on CoinSwitch Kuber was $3,447 (approximately Rs 2.56 lakh) while on global exchanges it was valued at $3,182 (approximately Rs 2.36 lakh).
Bitcoin and Ether aren’t the only cryptocurrencies that have had a slow start to the week. Gadgets 360’s cryptocurrency price tracker shows that the most popular atlcoins have seen a drop in prices over the past 24 hours. Ripple, Polkadot, Chainlink, Uniswap, Polygon, and Litecoin have all dropped prices. Tether and Cardano are the only major cryptocurrencies that have seen a jump in their prices. In particular, Cardano has performed tremendously. According to CoinGecko data, the price of the “Ethereum-killer” has increased by 39 percent in the past week.
Mim coin prices saw some increase in the last week, but they also did not have a good start to this week. As of Monday, Dogecoin is currently priced at $0.18 (approximately Rs.13.71) after a decline of 4.96 per cent, while Shiba Inu is priced at $0.000031 (approximately Rs.0.002316), down 1.7 per cent over the past 24 hours.<!–
