According to a screenshot shared by RushLane, Ola Electric on Saturday, January 15, sent an email to buyers saying that the company is stopping production of the standard Ola S1 electric scooter and it will be made available by the end of this year. However, the email also mentions that if Ola S1 buyers want, they can upgrade to Ola S1 Pro by paying a premium in the next payment window. This window will open on Friday, January 21st at 6 pm.
The email further states that Ola Electric will ship the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter in January and February. It is also mentioned that the post shipment delivery may take 10 to 20 days depending on the location of the buyer and the process of the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
