After many states and union territories Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha and Ladakh, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in many cities of Tamil Nadu like Salem, Vellore, Cuddalore. . Petrol in Chennai is Rs 99.19 per liter and diesel Rs 93.23 per liter. Petrol is already selling above Rs 100 per liter in metros like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
So much petrol in this state
At present, petrol is selling at Rs 104.22 per liter in Mumbai and diesel at Rs 96.16 per litre. Diesel, the most used fuel, has crossed Rs 100 per liter at some places in Odisha along with Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh in Rajasthan. Vehicle fuel prices have increased for the 30th time since May 4. Petrol became costlier by Rs 7.71 per liter and diesel by Rs 8.12 per liter in 30 times. Petrol prices have come very close to hitting the century mark across the country.
Extending the range of historically high prices, which had already crossed the Rs 100 per liter mark in some cities and towns of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. Oil prices rose on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday last week, and on Monday and Tuesday this week, before remaining stable on Wednesday. Petrol and diesel prices were increased four days before last week also. Since May 4, oil prices have increased 29 times and there has been no change in prices 26 times. This hike has increased the price of petrol in Delhi by Rs 7.37 per liter. Similarly, diesel prices have increased by Rs 7.57 per liter in the national capital.
