NASA has said it will show live coverage of Mark’s return. This will be complete coverage from undocking to landing. Its schedule is as follows:
Farewell and hatch closure: March 30 at 9 am IST
Undocking: March 30 at 12:15 pm IST
D-Orbit: March 30 at 3:45 pm IST
Landing: March 30 at 4:58 pm IST
Before returning to Earth, Shkaplerov will hand over the command of the space station to NASA astronaut Tom Marshburn. This event will also be shown live on March 29 at 7:15 PM IST. You can watch the broadcast live on the NASA website and app.
After landing, the trio will separate as per standard crew return practice. NASA said Wende Hei will return to her home in Houston and the astronauts will return to their training base in Star City, Russia.
Mark also shared experiences from this long mission after breaking the record for living on the space station. The ISS shared the video on Twitter in which Wende Hei said that she had an indoor job for almost a year. Now he wants to be outside, no matter what the weather.

When asked whether spending time in space has changed his view of Earth, Wende Hei said, “You are actually in space. What keeps you apart from space is only a thin layer of atmosphere.” That’s what we call home.”
Vande Hei and Dubrov left Earth for the International Space Station on 9 April 2021. Shkaplerov arrived there on October 5.
