The company said in a blog, “We are announcing Total Cookie Protection for Firefox, which is an essential part of our work to protect your privacy.” Total Cookie Protection prevents cookies from tracking you on the web by creating a separate cookie jar for each website. Total Cookie Protection joins our suite of privacy protections called ETP (Enhanced Tracking Protection). In last month’s Total Cookie Protection with Supercookie Security, Firefox is now equipped with very strong, comprehensive protection against cookie tracking. This ETP will be available in both desktop and Android versions in strict mode. “
Let us know that Mozilla’s rival Chrome has received interesting updates, which have been announced during Google IO. A new password manager has been announced for the browser that will help users identify passwords that may be publicly disclosed. After which, users will be shown a “Change Password” button which will help the users to change the password with one tap. However, Google will not take away the rights from users to change the password manually. It is easy for users to remember passwords that have been changed manually, but the new feature will alert users when their password is leaked in a possible breech.
