After launching a series of smartphones in India and the global market, Motorola may soon take the wraps off another smartphone. It is expected that the company will present the Moto G51 in November. Ahead of the rumored launch, specific specifications of the Moto G51 have been leaked on a website. The smartphone is codenamed “Cyprus 5G” and could have a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
Technik News has leaked the main specifications of the Moto G51. The model number of the upcoming smartphone is XT2171-1 and its codename is Cyprus G. A while back, the smartphone was also spotted on Geekbench. The phone is expected to be an upgrade to the Moto G50 5G, which was launched globally in late August. Leaks suggest that Motorola may switch to Qualcomm processors from Dimensions.
Motorola used the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in the Moto G50 5G. The Lenovo-owned company recently launched the Moto G40 and Moto G20.
What can be special in Moto G51
- The camera specs of the Moto G51 5G have been revealed in the report. The smartphone is expected to pack an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor along with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, there can be a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
- The Moto G51 may feature a full-HD+ display but the display size has not been disclosed in the report. Technic News has not disclosed the refresh rate but has said that Motorola may launch in November.
- The Geekbench listing has revealed that the Moto G51 could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The G50 5G used a Dimensity 700 SoC, but due to the lack of a chip, Motorola will reportedly use the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset in the Moto G51 5G.
- The smartphone can be launched with two different RAM variants, which includes a 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant. The smartphone will run on Android 11 out of the box but it can be upgraded to Android 12.
If this smartphone is launched in India, then the price of the smartphone can be less than Rs 15,000.
