Designed by AI Bots, an online community of digital artists, each artwork was designed using generative adversarial networks (GANs). It is a device that requires the creator to upload multiple images and train the AI algorithms to generate a real illustration as the final artwork.
MakeMyTrip has launched 25 tokens of artwork each, with prices starting at Rs.14,999. These are available on a first come-first served basis. NFTs built on the Polygon blockchain can be accessed through MakeMyTrip’s website and purchased on ngageN from March 9.
MakeMyTrip claims that it will use the proceeds from the sale of these NFTs to support a project focused on promoting sustainable tourism in the country.
In a statement to Mint, Sunil Suresh, Chief Marketing Officer, Group, said, “NFT is the amalgamation of new age technology with the world of travel as it captures the beauty of some of the exotic places in India.
