Most of the smartphones launched in the country along with the global market
Most of Asus’s smartphones have been launched on the same day, when they were launched in the global market. Asus launched the ROG Phone 5 Series in March. Asus was planning to launch the Zenfone 8 series as a surprise in India before the launch of the Zenfone 7 series. Sharma said that unless the present situation improves, it will not be launched. The second wave of Corona is proving more dangerous in India at the moment and more than 4 lakh cases are coming every day.
Due to this, the Zenfone 7 Series was not launched
A person familiar with the matter told in a conversation with Financial Express Online that the Zenfone 7 series (Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro) was not launched in India because it was a matter of many features, including the camera to the ROG Phone 3. It gives a tough competition in the case. Through the Zenfone 8 series, customers will get special features, which can increase the competition in the market.
