The Indian alternative of Twitter, Koo, has crossed the figure of 10 million users. The company said in the statement that the platform now has people from all walks of life – including some prominent faces. Like film stars, politicians, sportspersons, writers, journalists – sharing their updates in eight languages and connecting with their followers daily. Koo is now available in 8 languages including Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Assamese, Bengali and English.
The company said in the statement that Ku has seen many prominent faces on its platform. These include prominent actors such as Anupam Kher, Tiger Shroff, Kangana Ranaut, prominent ministers and politicians such as Nitin Gadkari, Kamal Nath, Ashok Gehlot, Yogi Adityanath, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Apart from these, there are many famous players like Mohammed Shami, Wriddhiman Saha, Aakash Chopra, Javagal Srinath, Saina Nehwal, Abhinav Bindra, Ravi Kumar Dahiya, Mary Kom. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), Press Information Bureau (PIB), Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, MyGov, Digital India, BSNL are also present on Ku.

What is Koo?
It is a micro blogging platform like Twitter. It is available as a website and on iOS and Google Play Store. You can post your thoughts publicly here and also follow other users. Posts from other users are shown in a feed. Here the character limit is 400. One can sign up for Ku using his mobile number. Users also have the option to link their Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter feeds to the Ku profile.
