Nowadays, a message is becoming increasingly viral on social media, claiming that Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, chairperson of pharmaceutical company Biocon, saved himself from the corona virus by applying coconut oil to his nose four times a day. This message is being shared from WhatsApp to LinkedIn and other social media as well.
Now a response has been given by Biocon on this viral message, which says that this message is completely fake. Sharing a screenshot of this forward message on its Twitter handle, the company said, “#FakeForwardAlert: A fake message in the name of Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is being shared on WhatsApp, which is said to have added coconut oil # Has fixed COVID19.
