Mosseri completely debunks the myth in the blog that Instagram has an algorithm.
Have you ever wondered why some Instagram posts get more likes. At the same time, why are only those posts shown on your Insta account in which you are interested. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has answered all these questions and explained how Instagram functions.
Instagram is coming here with many blogs where you will get all the information about the photo sharing app. The first question in this is, how does Instagram choose what to show the users here first? How do some posts get more likes than other posts? What to show in Explore How does Instagram show this?
Mosseri completely debunks the myth in the blog that Instagram has an algorithm. We have heard this many times that many things on Instagram work with the help of app algorithm. But Mosseri has made it clear here that Insta does not have an algorithm. The company uses and processes many algorithms here.
Mosseri clarified here that, the app is divided into three parts which include Feed, Explore, Reels and each has its own algorithm. People always see only their close friends in stories but they often want to explore other things. Mosseri further said that feeds and stories are of different types.
Let us know that Instagram tries to show different posts here. The company does not show too many posts of the same user here at once. Mosseri also told here, how the company protects users’ accounts. On the other hand, if a user posts against the guidelines of Insta, then the company immediately removes such posts. Here the company does not remove those posts which are checked through fact checkers.
