Playing via Wi-Fi
There is a fake app called Wi-Fi, through which the Stalkerware program is entering users’ phones. According to cyberspace firm Kaspersky, this app accesses the geolocation of the phone. Last year too, this program harmed users. In the year 2019, 67,500 users and in 2020 53,870 mobile users have fallen victim to this virus.
How to find Stalkerware?
To know whether Stalkerware is installed in your phone or not, you will have to remove all the apps from the phone that you do not use. You go to the settings of the phone and go to unknown sources and check it. From here you can find the apps loaded through third party, if it also contains Stalkerware, then remove it by turning off mobile data. Also disable unknown sources.
