This feature is likely to come with device lock features only for devices that are purchased in installments. Instead of keeping it in the background, Jio has put a banner on the notification panel, which highlights the lock.

Google’s Device Lock Control feature was spotted last year, aimed at restricting access to the device. Instead of EMI option instead of regular installments, Jio has added installments for JioPhone Next with its dedicated prepaid plan. These plans are available for 24 months at Rs 300 per month and Rs. Starting from Rs 600 per month for 18 months, users can choose from them according to their needs.

JioPhone Next has a 13-megapixel camera on the back panel, while an 8-megapixel camera has been given on the front. It has a 5.45-inch touchscreen HD display, which has a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. This phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon and 2 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
