Question- I have already updated the date of birth once on my basis. Can I update or correct it again?
Answer- You can update the date of birth in your Aadhaar only once. But if you have any valid requirement to update the date of birth again, then you will have to follow the procedure given below.
1- Visit any base center with valid date of birth proof. You can see the list of documents here. https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/valid_documents_list.pdf
2- If your request is rejected, call 1947 or write to [email protected] and request for ‘update update’ with latest update request number and contact details.
Question- I recently updated my date of birth but it was rejected. What do i do now?
Answer- If you are updating your date of birth for the first time, you can call 1947 to get information about it and take action accordingly.
Question- I have sent my details to the help center / regional office but my request was canceled. What do i do now?
Answer- Follow these steps according to your case…
1- If you have updated your date of birth before 14.10.2019 and this is your first update and was rejected due to “more than limit of date of birth gap” or “already validated date of birth” If it is, then get your date of birth updated again from Aadhaar Center. Keep in mind that you have valid documents.
2- If the date of birth request has been submitted before 14.10.2019 and it is your first date of birth update, then you can call 1947 to find out the reason and take action accordingly.
3- If this is your second date of birth update, call 1947 or send an email to [email protected] and request for ‘update update’ with the latest update request number and contact details.
