Google on Wednesday launched its latest true wireless (TWS) earphones Google Pixel Buds A series in India. The A series are Google’s first TWS earphones in India. They were launched in the US in June. These earphones are the affordable version of Pixel Buds TWS earbuds launched last year. Google has priced the Pixel Buds A series in India at Rs 9,999. The earphones will be available from April 25 via Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Tata Cliq.
Up to 24 hours battery backup
The standard Pixel Buds 12-mm drivers are available in the Pixel Buds A-series. The company claims that it can give a total battery backup of up to 24 hours, which includes the charging case. However, Google has tried to reduce the price in some areas. The Pixel Buds A series does not support wireless charging and swiping controls for volume adjustment. It also lacks the Attention Alert feature, which automatically lowers the volume when users need to hear the surrounding sounds.
Other specifications of the A series include sweat and water resistance with IPX4 rating and passive noise reduction. The earphones also use beamforming microphones, which reduce external noise, allowing users to focus on sound during calls. Users can also use the microphone to make calls to Google Assistant. This feature is similar to the Google Pixel Buds launched last year. Apart from this, when it is paired with a Google Pixel smartphone or device with Android 6.0 or later operating system, it offers real-time translation in more than 40 languages.
Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition: Up to 12GB of RAM, 64MP main camera
Pixel Buds A series have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Can last up to 24 hours on full recharge. At the same time, with the quick charge feature, users can use the earbuds for three hours by charging only 15 minutes.
