To make it easier for public figures and creators to build a community and achieve their commercial goals, Facebook on Friday launched a new page design in India. The new page design includes an intuitive layout with a crisp look and feel that makes it easy to navigate between personal profiles and public pages. This will also make it easier to see bios, posts and other important information.

For the first time ever, there’s a dedicated News Feed for Pages that will bring new ways to help with discovery and engage in conversation. This will make it easier to follow trends, interact with peers and connect with fans, the company said in a statement. The dedicated news feed will also suggest new connections such as other public figures, pages, groups, and trending content that cares about a page or public person.

In addition, Page conversations will now be more visible to viewers and appear more frequently in followers’ news feeds. Also, comments from public figures will be pushed to the top of the comments section. People will also be able to follow the page directly from posts with comments and recommendations. The new design will remove likes and focus on followers, making it easier for people to engage with their favorite pages.

Page followers can now receive updates from their favorite Page. It will also enable public figures to get a better idea of their fan base and build a stronger connect with them.

Updated task-based admin controls will now make page management more convenient, as will the ability to explicitly assign manager access and allocate permissions on a managed basis.

Pages Manager can now be given full or multiple levels of access to manage important tasks, including insights, advertising, content and community activity and messages. It will also decide the security of the account.
