Actors have warned their fans against fake clubhouse profiles in their name. Both of them said that they are not on this platform.
Clubhouse
Elon Musk’s favorite app clubhouse is in discussion these days, but a surprising case related to it has come up. Mollywood stars Prithviraj and Dulquer Salman have warned their fans against fake clubhouse profiles in their name. Both of them announced through their verified social media pages that they are not at the clubhouse.
More than 4 accounts are available in the name of these two stars on Clubhouse. Sharing a screenshot of the clubhouse profile on Instagram Stories, Prithviraj informed his followers that he does not keep a single profile on the new social media platform. Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan also declared that he is not at the clubhouse and appealed to the fraudsters not to create his profile on social media.
Dulquer Salmaan wrote on his Facebook page, “I am not in the clubhouse. These accounts do not belong to me. Please do not copy me on social media. This is not cool! “
Let us tell you, the invite-based and audio-only platform ‘Clubhouse’ has become the buzz of the city, even though it was not launched long ago (in 2020). It has gained mass popularity and people are getting eager to know more about the app. With more and more social media influencers, especially youth, using the Clubhouse app, people are now getting invoices to join the app in bulk.
What is a clubhouse app?
The clubhouse, an audio-based social media application, is a platform where users can interact in voice chat rooms. It can handle groups of up to 5,000 people and social media users are using it for detailed conversion. The clubhouse has been used by such eminent personalities as Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg. The Android version of the app was launched last week for users in India and around the world. It currently has more than 10 million active users.
The bad thing about the app is that fraudsters have started targeting this platform as well and are duping users by creating fake profiles. In such a situation, it is important that you stay alert on this platform and test and believe on a profile.
