Let us know that recently Gopal Vittal, CEO of Airtel has also asked his customers to stay away from e-KYC fraud. In an email, he has said that due to the second wave of Corona, digital payments have increased rapidly and at the same time there has been an increase in the cases of fraud related to it. In this mail, several types of cyber fraud have been told, including the KYC scam.
Airtel customers are being leaked through this app
Talking about the KYC scam, a person can call you and tell himself of the Airtel company or you can message for KYC. After this you will be asked to download the Airtel Quick Support app from the Playstore so that the validation can be carried forward. But the most important thing to tell is that no app of this name belongs to Airtel. When you try to install it, you will be redirected to the TeamViewer Quick Support App. This app will give thugs access to your device and can easily learn about the account associated with this device.
What is TeamViewer Quick Support App
It is a desktop sharing app and the biggest thing is that very few people know about how it works. In such a situation, the host can get access to your mobile screen through any remote desktop app and can see what you are typing. Through this, thugs can get access to UPI PIN including social media and online banking account and can execute fraud.
