Twitter user Lakshya Verma (@lakshayvrm) informed through a tweet on March 26 that there was a sudden explosion in his OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone in India. According to the tweet, the incident happened at the time of calling. He has also claimed that due to the blast, the molten metal of the phone was stuck on the hands and face of the victim. He has also shared a video clip in this tweet, in which the phone is lying on the ground and smoke is seen coming out of it. However, it is not known in the video and pictures that this is the OnePlus Nord 2 phone.

After this, on March 31, Lakshya launched another Tweet I also shared some pictures of the phone. In the tweet, he informed that there is no satisfactory response from OnePlus on the complaint. In another tweet, he told that the phone has been deposited at the service center in Connaught Place, Delhi, where he was asked to wait for 2 to 3 days, but later allegedly the service center gave him back the phone. Asked to be taken away and also said that they cannot help him in this matter.

In November last year, the news of a fire broke out in the OnePlus Nord 2. A Twitter user had informed about the explosion in the OnePlus Nord 2 and serious injury to the smartphone user. The smartphone was launched in July last year and since the launch, a total of four OnePlus Nord 2 have reportedly caught fire or exploded.
