Sharing a post on the game’s website on Thursday, Crafton explained the policy to ban the devices. Crafton explained that if illegal programs are detected in a mobile device, that device will be completely banned from using BGMI. This simply means that if you cheat while playing BGMI and Crafton’s new security logic detects it, your device may get banned. After that you will never be able to play BGMI on that device. So far this game only bans the players account. Action is taken against those players who use unofficial and modified versions of the game or use illegal programs for cheating in the game.
Meanwhile, Crafton continues to crack down on accounts of users who cheat in the game. Recently, Crafton reported that it banned 99,583 BGMI accounts within 6 days. All these accounts were cheating in the game. Banning the account is effective, but after banning the device, players who cheat will not be able to enter the game even after creating a second account. In this way that device will be completely banned from playing the game. Ban on a device can be done through ‘Device ID’ or ‘IP Address’.
Crafton has been receiving complaints about in-game cheating from players on its social media channels. The company says that it will continue its work towards eliminating cheating. Recently, Crafton banned more than 142,000 players. This ban was imposed between December 6 and December 12 on those accounts, which were using illegal programs. They were banned permanently. Even then the company had said that it would continue to take such steps to give a better gaming environment to the players.
