Amazon prime
Amazon India has announced a youth offer for new prime members. This offer is giving cashback of 500 rupees to customers aged 18-24. This offer is applicable for customers purchasing a three-month subscription or an annual subscription.
Amazon has offered this offer only for Android users and does not apply to users recharging via desktop or iOS app. Amazon Prime unlocks benefits like free delivery, access to Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music and more. The e-commerce giant is offering Annual Prime Subscription at an effective price of Rs 499 in India and 3 months subscription at an effective price of Rs 164.
Only youth of 18-24 years of age can take advantage of this youth offer. Apart from this, this offer can only be accessed through any Android app and mobile browser. This means that this offer is not applicable on the iOS app, but it can be redeemed by logging into the Amazon app through a mobile browser.
Customers must upload ID proof
Eligible customers will be able to get cashback after paying Rs 329 for 3 months and Rs 999 for an annual subscription to Amazon users and then uploading the Edge version later. Customers will have to verify their age by uploading an ID proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID Card / Driving License) and a selfie. Once verified, Rs 500 (for an annual subscription) or Rs 165 (for a three-month subscription) will be credited to the customer’s Amazon Pay balance account within 48 hours. This money can be used to buy things from Amazon.
50 percent discount on prime membership
With this youth offer, Amazon is offering a 50 percent discount on Prime Membership to select customers in India. Amazon recently stopped offering its Monthly Prime subscription in India, which was priced at Rs 129. This is because the new guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India called for the implementation of an additional factor of authentication (AFA) to process small online transactions. This decision will make the monthly recharge cumbersome and Amazon has claimed to remove the option of one month to remove the inconvenience.
