Google is planning to add a new feature to its ‘Find My Device’ ecosystem. According to reports from 9to5 Google, Google is working on a feature to find lost smartphones with the help of other Android devices. Along with this, the owners of the cars which are coming with the new Android Auto infotainment system can also use this feature to track their cars.
Along with this, work is being done to add another feature in ‘Find My Device’ in which users can share the ownership of their device with anyone else. Through this feature, you will be able to find your lost phone without any internet.
Apart from this, Google is also trying to bring the ability that users can login to the new Android Auto infotainment system through their Google account. This will help the users to track their stolen track. This feature is not limited to just tracking the car but it will also protect your Google account from any unauthorized access. Reports say that Google is working on these features but there is no timeline as to when these features will be released.
Recently media reports have claimed that Google is working on a feature that works like Apple’s ‘Find My’ network. The Find My app lets you locate Apple devices that are logged in with an Apple ID, and it also helps track AirTag. According to a report by XDA Developers, the new version 21.24.13 of the Google Play Services app showed some codes “mdm_find_device_network_description” and “mdm_find_device_network_title”, suggesting that the company is working on a new feature to track Android devices. .
The report also said that this feature helps you locate your phone and locate other people’s devices. Although Google has not yet officially revealed this feature and little information has been revealed about it, so it is not known whether it will be different from the existing Find My Device feature or similar.
