Raj Darji PC- Aarav Solutions
The laborers always wanted to work with Ishwarbhai Tailor, who worked as a farmer in Ablauva of Mehsana village of Gujarat. One day when his son Raj Tailor asked him why these laborers wanted to work with him, he said that since he takes care of those laborers, they take care of them in return. This talk of Ishwar Bhai Tailor sat in the mind of little Raj and it inspired him to start his own business journey.
After a few years Raj moved to Bharuch and then to Visnagar where he completed his IT engineering studies and then worked with companies like Oracle, Hyundai Motors America, and Siemens in the US from 2007 to 2011. After this, in 2012, he came to India to start his product engineering and IT consulting services firm Aarav Solutions, which he got registered in Ahmedabad.
Raj started his business without any external funding, even friends and family, adopting the experience gained during farming with his father. They are currently working in the US, Canada and India. There are more than 130 employees working with them and Raj says that they are achieving 100% growth year-on-year.
How did this journey begin
Raj started his studies from government school and came to Bharuch to do 12th. He was interested in doing chemical engineering but his friends asked him to go into IT as it was growing rapidly in the late 90s. After this he did BE in Information Technology in 2003.
When Raj was planning to study and work in America, he asked his father for Rs 15 lakh from his father but he said that he did not have that much money and then Raj stalled this plan. After this he started a local job in a broadband company and then he got a job in Oracle billing and revenue management technology, from which he reached America for work. He realized the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey as he worked with American companies.
In 2006, Raj got an H-1B visa and reached the US. After this, in 2011, he came to India to get his visa stamped but it was delayed by 10 months and during this time he kept working for American companies from home but he did not get any confirmation that he would be able to go back to America. Or not and then after that he got the idea to start his own business.
This is how Aarav Solutions became
Raj named his company Aarav after his newborn child, and it took him four months to persuade people to work for his new product engineering and IT consulting services firm. After working from home for 8 hours for an American company, he spent all his time in making Aarav Solutions and spent a part of his salary in meeting expenses and put the other part directly in Aarav Solutions.
At present, Raj’s company has 130 people and is working on Aarav Solutions, SAP, Oracle ROD stack, SalesForce and Oracle eBusiness Suite as well as Digital Transformation, Enterprise Solutions, Mobility Solutions and Digital Enablement Solutions.
With offices in Ahmedabad, Bharuch and Bangalore, Aarav Solutions has worked to improve the Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Government bodies, Power and Utility sectors.
