This 50-year-old man is the messiah of thousands of destitute and beggars living around Bangalore, but he was not always such responsible and kind.
This was a spoiled man who was once accused of robbery, but today he is the protector of thousands of destitute people living on the streets. The auto t king underwent a major change. He has become a role model for all those who think that there is nothing left to move forward in life. This story is about becoming a saint from a sinner, just like the story of Maharishi Valmiki.
He was born to a telephone lineman. He was always deprived of love and affection of parents. He got addicted to bad habits very quickly and so he broke his ties with the school. Raja got caught in bad company and started drinking and gambling. He also started stealing in order to fulfill his wrong requirements.
Business Khabar In an interview given to Raja, he said – “I became a don within a short time.” I even stole my mother’s Mangal Sutra and in the end I plundered all the wealth of our family. “
Eventually, his parents expelled him from the house and he was forced to live on the streets. A trash can at the bus stand became his bedroom. He says “I was just like a street dog; I neither knew nor did I have any plan of life. ”
At the age of 16, he moved to Chennai and became part of a robbery there. The police caught them and sent them to a child-improvement home. In prison, Raja realized that there was more to do in life and he decided to help the needy. He says that he started praying and meditating and started driving auto-rickshaws for his livelihood. He explains, “I have seen many people spending their lives in the dirt on the streets.” There are many people living with major diseases like HIV, cancer, TB, and psychiatry. ”
The king’s life took a turn when one day he saw a naked person lying on the road and counting his last breath. Seeing this heartbreaking event, he decided to do something for the needy. But they had no money to do something like this.
In 1997, Raja launched the ‘New Arc Mission of India’ in a small space in front of his house. They would bring the destitutes of the road to their homes with their autos. They used to clean their wounds, bathe, put on clean clothes and feed them. Raja used to say “My parents used to tell me that I have become a bad person because I bring crazy people to my house.” Neither his parents nor any of his friends helped him in this work.
A few months later his wife started supporting him. Now both of them were able to help more people. As the number of people increased, they started needing more space. After some time he got a donation of 5000 rupees from a church and was also provided with some place to live. From here Home of hope The foundation was laid and their work progressed. After that, he did not look back again. For over 20 years, Home of Hope helped around 11000 people. More than 6000 people died with peace and honor.
Currently Home of Hope shelters around 700 people including 80 orphans. He is assisted by a doctor, psychiatrist and eight nurses. Raja is sending those children to private school and he hopes that he will one day become a good citizen and help the needy.
A king sheltering so many needy does not have his own house. They say –“Hope God will make me a beautiful house in heaven.” They want to make Karnataka a state where there are no beggars. They say- “We should not wait for another Mother Teresa to come and serve the people of our country. We have to be like them and help the poor and needy. “
