Born into a poor and illiterate family in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh, Madhusudan’s family worked as laborers at the landlords’ house. His father used to work in the fields, while his mother in a tobacco factory. In return for work, he used to get only food from the landlord.
Due to the family growing up, even after 18 hours of wages, they were unable to eat a single stomach. Despite the pathetic economic conditions, his parents inspired him to study. He had to face social pressure many times due to his belonging to the Dalit society, but he continued his studies in the face of these dreadful circumstances.
After getting his initial education from the village school, he got a polytechnic in his desire to get a job. His intention behind doing polytechnics was that he should get a job as soon as possible so that he could support the financial conditions of the house, but regrets everywhere he was sought.
Finally disappointed, he chose the only way to work with his brothers. At the same time, he also worked as a security guard.
One day Madhusudan, sitting in a company waiting for an interview, heard two officers talking among themselves about the need for labor. These officers needed a large number of laborers for any single project. Madhusudan did not delay and took this tender of laborers from him. Successfully disposing of this tender, he earned Rs 25,000. The first success of life inspired him to open his own company to do this work on a large scale. He laid the foundation of his dreams under the name of MMR Group. In the initial days, he started the work of supplying laborers. He did only the laying work for big telecom companies in more than four states.
Then he gradually started working in more areas. Today, under the banner of the MMR group, more than 20 companies are working in the fields of telecom, IT, electrical, mechanical and food processing, making profits in crores. Madhusudan is today in the line of one of the successful capitalists of India, but even today he works for 18 hours a day.
