Rudraksha is being prepared by Air layering method
Talking about his unique farming, at the same time, farmer Santosh Jyestha says that in today’s time, he cultivates it with the help of air layering method. This method is also called Clonal. Santosh Jyestha explains that under this method, when the plants are up to four years old, the mousse is applied to their branches after cutting the ring from Peppin. They are then covered with about 250 μm polyethene. Its roots come out in about 45 days, which can be cut and applied in new bags. Within 20 days, these plants become planted and after some time they also get Rudraksha flower.
There is demand in India but no production
There is a demand for Rudraksha in India, but due to lack of production, farmer Santosh Jyestha explains that the cultivation and public love of Rudraksha are in countries like Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, it is not in India. Rudraksha tree up to 200 feet
Farmer Santosh Jyestha further explains that a tree of Rudraksha can grow easily in Indian hilly places and is mostly grown there. However, Rudraksha farming can also be done in some plains. Its trees are at least 200 feet long and many things are special in this tree. This tree has white coloured flowers inside which there is round-shaped Rudraksha.
