During the conversation, I came to know! That the early varieties of vegetable peas are found very well in the rice-wheat cropping system practised in the eastern parts of UP!
Sushil said that after coming from the fair I had decided to cultivate the vegetable! And started vegetable farming under the supervision of scientists of Indian Vegetable Research Institute! Scientists of Indian Vegetable Research Institute told me that they can cultivate peas in their entire field! I agreed I was the first to check their land and plough the field deeply!
I used organic fertilizer (cow dung manure) to destroy unnecessary weeds and pests! And after preparing my land for irrigation, I have sown Kashi Uday and Kashi Nandini varieties! After the plants came out I started caring for them and destroyed all the weeds! After a month, the blossoms start blooming and blooming!
Climate suitable for pea cultivation
It requires a moist and cool July for its harvest! Therefore, in most places in our country, the pea crop is harvested during the Rabi season. It requires 20 to 22 degree Celsius average for seed germination and 10 to 18 degree Celsius temperature for good growth and growth of plants! If there is the hot or dry season at the time of production of beans, the quality and production of peas are adversely affected. All the places where annual rainfall varies from 60 to 80 cm! Matar crop can be grown successfully! Excess rainfall during the growth period of matar is very harmful!
Irrigation management of pea cultivation
Two irrigations are required in the native and advanced piety of peas! There is no need for second irrigation when winter rains occur! 45 days after sowing and second irrigation required when the first irrigation flower comes out! But 60 days after sowing the seeds when pods are formed! Generally, peas require light water, irrigations are always light!
