Ekalavya How are strawberries cultivated?
Eklavya, born on June 26, 2006 in Manjhaul village in the Begusarai district of Bihar, states that after long research related to strawberries, he got 1000 special strawberry trees from Himachal, which are basically Australians. After this, he plowed his field well and planted saplings.
From time to time, he irrigated keeping moisture in mind. His hard work paid off and fruits started to grow in strawberries. Ekalavya explains that generally cold regions are considered good for the cultivation of strawberries, but it is not difficult to create a suitable land and environment for this.
Up to 60 thousand rupees estimated profit
According to Eklavya, strawberries are sold in the local market from fifty rupees a kilo to eighty rupees a kilo. At the same time, its price is up to 600 rupees kg in big markets. In such a situation, after the production of 1000 plants, after taking all the expenses, they are estimated to benefit about 60 thousand rupees.

Where did the idea of strawberry cultivation come from?
Ekalavya Says, “Since childhood, I have seen people from my village doing traditional farming, which did not earn much. The farmer used to survive. Sometimes, due to crop failure, there is a possibility of taking loan for the next crop. In such a situation, I wanted to prove by using a new experiment that if new experiments are done in farming, then farmers can also earn big money. ”
“That’s why I started searching for alternatives on Google and my focus turned to strawberries.” In further research, I came to know that I can do it in the village. With this, I got out of work. I am glad that my effort was successful. Hopefully, other people of the village will also be inspired by this and do experiments in their fields.
Travelling easy with parents
Ekalavya According to him, it was not possible to move forward without the support of the family. Seeing his passion and efforts for the cultivation of strawberries, his parents supported him.
