People have their own interpretation of hard times, for most people – hard times are just one more excuse to hide their incompetence, while for some exceptional people this is the reason for hard times to succeed. The ability to innovate and learn new skills is the key to a successful life. Heroes of our today’s story Arvind Has shown this fact to be of interest.
Born in Rohtak, Haryana, Arvind’s father was a small-scale civil contractor. The family’s fortunes, struggling to live a normal life, deteriorated further when their father’s business was severely damaged. He had to sell his house and the whole family shifted to a one-room house. Arvind used to live in this small room with two siblings and his parents. The pathetic economic condition of the family forced him to work at a very young age.
In 2001, at the age of sixteen, Arvind started working as a daily wage laborer. A daily income of Rs 50 per day helped to meet their personal financial needs and the family also received timely support. Life was tough but Arvind was always happy with whatever he had. However, he was extremely disappointed to see the condition of his family. The intense desire to change the fate of his family was developing inside Arvind – he experimented with many small jobs of different kinds.
By the age of twenty, Arvind developed some interest in music and formed friendships with some local musicians. After a hard day’s work, he would go out to DJ parties with his friends. DJs were a new trend in Rohtak in those days, and people used to hire DJs at all big and small parties. Arvind found the profession of DJing quite attractive and learned enough tricks to increase his interest in music. Gradually, his demand for DJ parties grew, and very soon, he mastered the art of DJ. For almost a decade, Arvind remained one of the most popular DJs in Rohtak and surrounding areas. He earned an equal amount of money and prestige.
Despite achieving success in the DJ world, Arvind was eager to learn about new business areas. In the year 2013, he came to know about the accident caused by the falling structure in the ongoing program at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. This accident made him aware of the need to use a better aluminum truss (structure) at such events. Arvind was known by many in the event management industry. He saw a huge business potential in the region and soon met a trader of aluminum trusses in Delhi.
Arvind Business Khabar, When asked about the superior quality aluminium trusses, a merchant in Delhi laughed at me that almost all aluminium trusses are imported from China and no Indian company has such trusses. Can make. Hearing this, he was deeply disappointed and determined to make better aluminum trusses in India.
Arvind started research on aluminum trusses and the initial research cost him around Rs 10 lakh. After a better understanding of the business, he took a business loan and set up a small manufacturing facility to manufacture aluminum trusses. His first truss was ready 9 months later and he called the same businessman in Delhi who initially mocked his idea. The merchant advised him to display his truss at an exhibition in Delhi. Arvind took his truss to Delhi and showed it in the exhibition. His hard work was successful, Arvind received good response and appreciation for his product. Since then, Arvind’s company Devil truss Works range from supplying trusses to preparing structures for small to large programs. He has clients from many prominent and renowned personalities of India and many event management companies. From political to corporate and entertainers to philosophers – Arvind’s trusses were used in all events. In 2019, Devils Truss received the Best Trussing Company Award in India.
Truss imported from China is cheaper but quality is lower. Our truss is an ideal balance of price and quality. This balance of quality and cost has helped us to do business of Rs 15 crores – Arvind
Arvind has adopted the same positive attitude even during the difficult times around Kovid-19. His company has not dismissed any of its employees during the Kovid-19 crisis. Arvind feels that soon the situation will improve, and once again everything will go smoothly.
Arvind considers two things important in his life – perseverance and the persistence of doing something. They believe that no matter how unrealistic your dreams maybe if the goal is pursued with full determination, the destination will definitely be achieved.
