Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Technology and Leadership Forum (NTLF) of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) on 17 February via video conferencing. On this occasion, the Prime Minister appreciated the role of the Indian IT industry which played a huge role in running the entire system smoothly during the Corona epidemic. Prime Minister Modi said that startup founders should also consider preparing institutions rather than just focusing on the values.
PM Modi said that this is a time when the world is looking at India with more confidence and hope. During the corona, India’s knowledge-science and technology have not only proved itself but also developed itself. There was a time when India used to import smallpox vaccines and there is a time that India is exporting vaccines to many countries of the world.
Startup founders advised building institutions
PM Modi said that the biggest strength of the IT industry is the huge population of India and the desire of people here to adopt a new solution. PM Modi said that startup founders should consider how they can build institutions and they should not just think about the values under exit strategy.
PM Modi emphasized that startups should build institutions that can create world-class products that can set benchmarks in terms of excellence.
On this occasion, PM Modi said that every Indian is impatient for progress in new India. There is no dearth of ideas in India, but it needs such mentors who can make those ideas come true. The Prime Minister said that the IT industry should insist on developing lateral thinking among rural children under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) as it could prove to be a game-changer for India. He said that future leadership in bonds cannot develop, so the tech industry is being pulled out of unnecessary regulations.
Technology solved many problems of India
PM Modi said that it has become easy to fulfill the promise of minimum government and maximum governance through technology. Apart from this, in a short time due to IT, India has shifted from cash economy to lace-cash economy. PM Modi said that digital technology has reduced problems related to black money. PM Modi said that now all the projects are being geo tagged so that they can be completed on time and human intervention is being reduced in tax-related matters.
The conference will continue for three days
The 29th conference of NTLF is being organized from 17 to 19 February. This conference is organized by the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). The theme of the event that is going on in 2021 this year is ‘Shaping the Future Towards a Better Normal’. Around 1600 delegates from over 30 countries will participate in this conference and more than 30 products will be shown during the event.
