Kolkata: The first match of the T20 series was played between India and West Indies in Kolkata. Where India took a 1-0 lead in this series by winning a spectacular victory. In this match, Ravi Bishnoi got a chance to debut for India. He is trying very hard to make a place in Team India. After which he finally got this opportunity. Which he considered a dream come true. In this match, Bishnoi bowled brilliantly, taking 2 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs and also got the title of player of the match.
Ravi said during a conversation with Yuzvendra Chahal on BCCI.tv after the match that it was like fulfilling his childhood dream. He says, ‘I was very nervous when I joined the team, but then I liked the way coach Rahul Dravid sir welcomed all the new players. Also, everyone backed me well during the nets. Right now I have a lot to learn from here.
