Manager Tony La Russa is not going to return for the remainder of the season on the route of his docs, the Chicago White Sox introduced Saturday in an announcement.
“After undergoing additional testing and medical procedures over the past week, doctors for Tony La Russa have directed him to not return as manager of the Chicago White Sox for the remainder of the 2022 season,” the assertion learn.
The Sox have been with out La Russa, 77, since Aug. 30, once they introduced lower than an hour earlier than a sport in opposition to the Kansas City Royals that he wouldn’t handle that night time on the route of his docs.
