    Retired Patriots security Devin McCourty bought house on 37 billboards Tuesday all through jap Massachusetts to thank followers for his or her help over his 13-year profession.

    The billboards learn: “Thank you NE! You helped a young kid become a man, father, husband and a 3x champ!” The message ended with McCourty’s signature and occupied half of the billboard. The different half displayed a collage of pictures that includes McCourty’s household and twin brother, Jason, who performed in New England from 2018-20.

    McCourty later tweeted a photograph of himself in entrance of one of many billboards. The 35-year-old introduced his retirement final week and intends to pursue a profession in sports activities media. The Patriots will likely be holding a retirement press convention subsequent Tuesday on the crew’s Hall of Fame at 2 p.m.

    “It has been a great ride,” McCourty advised his twin brother and NFL Network analyst Jason McCourty on Friday. “I received the chance to speak to Mr. Kraft, to speak to Bill (Belichick), a whole lot of the blokes on the defensive employees.     McCourty entered the league as a first-round draft choose in 2010 and have become the fourth participant in franchise historical past to be named to the Pro Bowl as a rookie. He later earned All-Pro second crew honors in 2013 and 2016, and ranks third in Patriots historical past with 35 profession regular-season interceptions, trailing solely Ty Law and Raymond Clayborn. He was voted a captain each season after his rookie yr and completed his profession as a three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time Pro Bowler.
