After the third sequence went nowhere, Jones was seen tossing the blue replay pill behind the bench.
He later chucked his wristband containing the play calls after the ultimate sequence. That sequence included a landing that was referred to as again as a result of a penalty, then having to throw the ball away below strain on third down, resulting in area objective.
Following the sport, Jones was requested about his stage of frustration, and his means of getting over it so it doesn’t carry to the following play or sequence.
“I think I care a lot about this game. I sometimes get a little bit too passionate,” he stated. “But on the similar time, it’s an ideal level. Don’t let it carry over. I don’t suppose I did that.
“After the interception and all that, I tried to just clean the plate, and start fresh. Sometimes it’s getting the frustration out and moving on. Obviously, I need to do a better job of just playing the next play. And don’t let one little play get frustrating.”
On the evening, Jones went 9-for-13 for 71 yards, and a choose. He was sacked twice. Quarterbacks coach Joe Judge was at Jones’ facet on the bench, doing his finest to assist the quarterback transfer on.
“It’s the preseason. You don’t know how many plays you’re going to play, but it doesn’t really matter,” stated Jones. “Just go out there and give the best effort every play. Sometimes it’s hard to find a rhythm, but it’s what you gotta do regardless of how much you’re going to play. We can do better with that, and we will.”
