PAK vs WI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Wednesday that the three-match T20I collection between West Indies and Pakistan, which was to happen in January 2023, has been moved to the primary quarter of 2024.
The 2024 ICC T20 World Cup, which will probably be held within the West Indies and the USA, was chosen with a view to enhancing preparation, in response to PCB.

“The Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket West Indies have agreed to postpone the three-match T20I series, which was due to take place in January 2023 in Pakistan, to the first quarter of 2024,” the PCB mentioned in an announcement.
“The decision has been made considering 2024 is an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup year, with the event due to be hosted in the West Indies and the USA in June 2024, and the shortest format matches will, therefore, help both the sides to prepare for the tournament,” it added.

The lately unveiled 2023-2027 ICC Future Tours Programme doesn’t embrace the three-match T20I collection.
Notably, the West Indies visited Pakistan for the ODI and T20 collection in May of this 12 months. However, when the 50-over matches have been carried out, the guests reported a number of circumstances of Covid-19 of their camp, which finally led to each boards deciding to postpone the T20 collection and maintain it in early 2023.
