YC scored 27 runs in the last over of left-arm pacer Waqas Maqsood’s innings with three sixes and a four. Wisey then spent just one run in the last over of Islamabad’s innings to help Lahore Qalandars win. Number 9 batsman Mohammad Wasim refused to take a run off the first two balls of Vaisi and then was run out trying to take two runs off the next ball.
The last batsman Maqsood then gave the catch at deep midwicket. Azam Khan (40) was the top scorer for Islamabad while Alex Hales (38) and Asif Ali (25) played useful innings but could not lead their side to victory. (agency)
