Indore, Former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale on Monday suggested that KL Rahul should replace Virat Kohli as India’s next Test captain. Jagdale told “PTI-Bhasha”, “I believe that India’s next Test captain should be someone who can handle this responsibility for a long time. According to this scale, I would like to suggest the name of KL Rahul as the next Test captain of the country.

The former national selector said that Rahul has done well in all three formats of cricket and has scored runs in India as well as on foreign soil. Jagdale also insisted that the BCCI and the selectors should ensure that the “powerhouse” of IPL’s IPL, a multi-billion-dollar T20 league, does not interfere in the policy-making of India’s national cricket.
