Kolkata, Rubbishing concerns about Virat Kohli’s poor form, Indian captain Rohit Sharma on Tuesday said that everything will be alright if the talks about him stop. The Indian captain was not happy when Rohit was repeatedly questioned by the media about Kohli’s batting form before the T20 series against West Indies starting here on Wednesday.
Rohit said, “I think it starts with you guys.” “If you guys (media) can keep quiet for some time, then everything will be fine. If things are closed from your side then everything else can be taken care of.”

When asked questions about Kohli’s form, Rohit said, “He is in very good shape and has been a part of the international team for more than a decade. He has spent so much time in international cricket that he knows how to deal with pressure situations.”
He said, “That’s why I think everything starts with you guys. If you guys can keep quiet for some time then everything will be fine.” Kohli has not scored a century in international cricket for more than two years.
He has not been able to score a century in one-day internationals for three years. He has a total of 44 centuries in this format. Kohli, however, has scored several fifties in the meantime, indicating that he is not completely out of tune. On Tuesday, however, it appeared that Rohit was not happy with the media continuously asking questions about Kohli’s form.
After the final match of the ODI series, Rohit was asked questions related to Kohli, then he said that this star batsman needs some confidence. (agency)
