With regard to the mega action to be held before the new season of IPL 2022, the new season of league cricket, the BCCI has extended a few more days to give its names for the players to be included in the auction. It is worth noting that the BCCI had earlier given time till January 17. But, now this period has been extended by BCCI to 20 January. The reason is the players from England and Australia.
You have to register your name before the auction
10 teams are participating in IPL 2022 season. With the old 8 team, Lucknow and Ahmedabad team will play in season-15, ie IPL 2022. Remind you that before this there will be a mega auction on February 12 and 13, in which bids will be placed on the players and the team with the highest bidder will include those players in their team. It is worth noting that players register their names in the BCCI for the auction. And, those same players are invited to the auction. The BCCI had kept January 17 as the last date for giving names for the players, but now this period has been extended to January 20.
After the names of the players, BCCI will shortlist the names of the players and release a list of 250 players. That is, only then the final list of the auction will be considered fixed. Whereas, the two new IPL franchises Lucknow and Ahmedabad will reveal the names of the selected players of their team. The last date for both the new teams to choose their 3 players is 22 January.

Extended life for England players
Significantly, there is a lot of interest in the players of England in the IPL auction. Of course, England has a lot of strong and sharp batsmen and bowlers in the T20 format. Joe Root has already told that this season he will auction. These are not included. Ben Stokes has not registered his name yet. Significantly, Ben Stokes is a great all-rounder player. But, Rajasthan Royals RR did not retain him in view of his injury.
Many players from Australia did not register their names
Apart from Pat Cummins, the Australian player who got huge money in Kolkata Knight Riders, many Australian players have not yet registered their names for the IPL Mega Auction (IPL Mega Auction, 2022). Have done. It is worth noting that even in the IPL 2021 season, many players of Australia withdrew their names before the tournament in view of the infection of Corona, as Corona had entered the bio bubble. Now it remains to be seen how many players of Australia register their names till the congratulatory period.
